SKIP THINKING AND JUST START

Normally i don’t really talk much about my work, but since i’m working on a animated video and have to explain to the guy’s from the label what i’m doing and how it’s going to look like i thought i could as well share it with you!

I don’t have a certain way of working, most of the time i just start with something and from there on i’ll see what happens!Back at school i started making some collages and really liked the fact that you can not plan anything, you just cut out something that you like or looks interesting and search for something that you think will fit and build it up from there and i kept that in mind and that’s kinda how i work.

I’ll try to skip the thinking process and just start with something that feels good or looks interesting to me and from there on i’ll build it up instead of thinking for days what to do and make a whole plan which in the end appeared to look good in my head but when it’s there it looks like crap.

It doesn’t work all the time but the nice thing is that you don’t know what is going to happen and sometimes you have something really good and add something more to it and then it doesn’t look like it should so you have to go on and fix it and most of the time it turns out even better and it’s something that you couldn’t think off from scratch!

So don’t ask my what i’m going to make, just trust me and i’ll make it good!
